Blue Bubble Gum Nail Art

Hello ladies,

I did not expect to be so busy last week, I can't believe I only posted once! I promise that I will have a post everyday from Monday to Friday this week.

Now to play a little catch up. Hopefully you remember the H&M polish I wore last week, Blue My Mind. I had originally wanted to apply Cracked concrete over top, it looked super cool when I did a swatch of it, but last minute I decided I wanted to do some freehand nail art.

I had purchased my dotting tools from the Born Pretty Store months ago and never used them. I ended up playing around with them last week and used Rina's (Simply Rins) technique for applying a dotted french tip.

I used 4 different colours for dotting:

Sally Hansen - White Ghost

China Glaze - Bahamian Escape

China Glaze Secret Peri-Winkle

No name navy blue jelly

I used 2 different sized tools, is you have this exact set, I used the pink and blue ones, with the larger sized dots. I applied one colour at a time to all my nails on one hand at a time, this way you get some time for the polish to dry before overlapping.

If I were to try this again, which I most likely will, I would want to very the size of dots and give it more of a gradient/dispersed look.
