Here's hoping today was better than yesterday and that the weekend brings us all some well deserved rest! Today I have another polish from Color Club's Wicked Sweet collection, this one is called The Lime Starts Here, so far it's my favorite smelling of the bunch. You think it would smell like candy lime, but it actually more coconuty lol. Very faint scent, but really nice :)
The application was pretty smooth, I applied 2 coats of my OPI ridge filler which has a slight creamy base, this helped a lot with getting The Lime Starts Here opaque. I'm pretty sure I only used 3 thin coats of polish.
In real life this polish leans more on the yellow side and is very neon! The only draw back? It took a while to dry. It may have been the amount of coats applied, but I did use Seche Vite to help it along. I got some dents in a couple of nails :(
I wish the scent was a little stronger on this one, it as not as over powering as some of the others in the set ...cough!... Get Your Lem-on ... cough!
I hope I get to make it though the last 3 in this collection before summer says good bye. Lately the weather has been starting to feel fall-like ... sunny but cooler winds. I don't want summer to be over yet... still so many bright polishes to wear!
