Zom-body To Love is a sheer green glow in the dark polish. I had attempted to build up a glow in the dark polish on its own last year and it didn't work out that well so this year I decided to layer it over a similar polish. Lucky me, one I just happened to buy on impulse was a perfect match! Shown in my nails is two coats of Zom-body To Love over Essie Mojito Madness.
It dried to a semi-matte finish so I added a coat of Seche Vite for some gloss. The glow in the dark particles add depth to the colour and if you look close enough in real life it looks as if it adds a little sparkle as well.
So how well does it glow? See for yourself:
Do you own any glow in the dark polishes? Which is your favorite?
Great photos! Lucky dog you are to own it! I kind of kick myself for not getting it when it released in retail. I have bought a couple glow in the dark polishes from the drug store and none worked. Never found the one that ChG made a few yrs back either.
ReplyDeleteCheck Sally's for the China Glaze glow-in-the-dark, I saw them selling it this month in the Halloween display :)
DeleteI've had problems w/ glow in the darks from drugstores, also. You have to shake them well before applying, otherwise the GITD chemical sinks to the bottom of the polish and you won't get any glow on your nails.
DeleteSally's also has its own GITD polish in the Sally girl line, and us Americans can find the GITD pumpkin polishes at Rite Aid.
Cool pics1 I give you credit for geting any in the dark, it's a real challenge. I have this, 4 pumpkin polishes and OPI Glow Ink the Dark. Out of all of them OPI GITD is my favorite because I love purple, it's an interesting color even w/o the GITD aspect of it.
ReplyDeleteI love the opi glow in the darks because come in different colours and not the standard sheer yellow. I found a 3 pack of glow in the dark polish from a no name brand at Winners and they work surprisingly well! Plus all three glow in different colors! I have a pink (which glows yellow) a blue (which glows green) and a standard sheer green with glitter (glows yellow) I wrote about the blue one if you'd like to see the post : http://polishobsessed.blogspot.ca/2012/04/glow-worm.html
