I do not know what is up with my camera and capturing holos, it just sucks at it! Take for instance this pretty purple Sally Hansom Prism, Purple Diamond. It has a crazy beautiful linear holo, but it is just super hard to capture.
I haven't been able to find this one around on other blogs, only one. There is the other "limited edition" version in the round bottles that were supposedly popping up in Dollar Tree's not too long ago in the states, but those were hardly holographic lol.
In the bottle Prurple Diamond is a straight up deep purple holographic, the holo glitter in this is not as fine as China Glaze's OMG's, but it adds a lot more shimmery goodness!
I applied a good three coats, as the formula is thin with all of the Prisms, it did apply very well though. It looked a bit lighter on the nail, especially in low lighting or overcast daylight. But you can definitely see the prismatic effect very well indoors and out with the right lighting!
My one complaint is dry time, why does something so pretty have to take forever to dry :( I didn't want to use Seche Vite because I thought it would add too much gloss and take away the holographic effect.
Next time I use one of my Prisms, preferably a duo-chrome I will definitely use some Seche Vite and hope it dries quickly :) Do you have any tips for getting slow drying polishes to dry faster?

Pokenails
I'll keep this post short and sweet today :)
My sister requested pokemon nails the other day and this is what I came up with. It's not too often that I attempt free hand nail art, I used to in the earlier stages of my obsession lol. It isn't perfect but I tried :) pokeball nails! I used a Sally Hansen red jelly as the base, in the photos shown I used two coats, no top coat.
I divided the ring finger with the red and white polish (Sally Hansesn Insta-Dri).As best as I could in white polish I created a circle shape in between the white and red.
Once the white and red nail was dry, I outlined the circle with a black polish and striper brush, which is very tricky by the way! I then added the lines at either end of the circle to divide the white and red polish. I finished the white circle off with a dot of polish from my dotting tool in the middle.
All in all it was fun, I need to some up with some more ideas for free hand nail art :)

U.S Haul
Wow, so many hauls for me lately, I purchased a lot of polish this month, and its not even over yet!
Over the weekend I did some cross boarder shopping and found some hidden gems :) But I think I first want to start off with some random polish findings from all over the place earlier in the month.
So I guess I can start off with some new Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in my collection:
From left to right:
Lapis Amethyst - a turquoise/blue that shifts between pink/purple/yellow/green
Pink Rose Diamond - light pink linear holographic
Golden Tourmaline - a bright red holographic
Coral Amber - a pink/orange base that shifts between orange/yellow/green/blue
Ruby Sapphire - a deep purple base that shifts between red/pink/orange/gold/blue/green
My little Halloweenies! I love these bottles and I love Halloween. Is is me or is Halloween stuff coming out WAY too early this year, I mean it's one of my favorite times of the year but it's still August!
My little tombstone buddies are:
Black Pearl - straight up black
Black Magic - small and thin multicolored bar glitter in a clear base
Vampy Red - A very deep and dark burgundy
Next some old Sally Hansen Salon polish:
Honeydew - YES! I have been lemming this forever :) A bright teal with silver shimmer, so juicy looking makes me want some melon! I almost put this one on the other day, hopefully I wear it soon.
Guilty Pleasure - a pretty neutral gold foil.
Mangoes Loco - a pretty squishy looking coral/pink. I feel like sally Hansen has a lot of similar pink/coral the older salon collection, I own a lot of them lol.
Next up some more old school SH's:
Carnelian (Chrome) - a bright pink/magenta foil.
Batik Cream - a deep teal with green gold micro shimmer, very subtle
I also got some Nicole by OPI's, the look pretty similar but the difference is in the shimmer:
Turn Out The Lights - a black base with teal green shimmer
Drama in the Dark - a black base with a silver/blue/gray shimmer
This next beauty I got off eBay for a decent price, this is GR8 from China Glaze's OMG collection, it's the second I own and I love it more in person than when I had originally seen from the photos online. It may not be as holographic as the others, but there is a still a nice linear holo going on ;) For those of you who don't know, GR8 is a yellow/gold linear holo.
I found these China Glaze beauties on sale, I guess the beauty supply wanted to get rid of their summer collections, below is Electric Pineapple and Papaya Punch. Both are brights for summer without being neon.
Now for what I picked up in the U.S.
At Sally's I picked up their Beauty Secrets base and top coat, I forgot to take a picture of it, but you know the ones right? They are the size the size of a baseball and will probably last me the rest of my life lol. I have used the base coat already and love it, goes on so smooth.
Also at Sally's they had a full display of the new Metro collection from China Glaze so I picked up:
CG in the City- a mix of pink, purple, black and silver glitter in a clear base. From what I have seen on other blogs, the glitter builds up quite well.Midtown Magic - so beautiful, a deep dark base of purple with golden shimmer. In the bottle the shimmer looks a little duochromy, but not sure if it translates on the nail.
Next was one of my favorite finds, and at Kmart of all places. I found a Sally Hansen pack of lip glosses and a Xtreme Wear polish, the box said the total value was $18.00, but you pay $7.99. I don't have the box, but this is what it looked like. I felt like that was a little too much, since I just wanted the polish lol. I brought it up to the cashier and asked if there was a sale on it at all, it rang in at $1.99!! WOOT! last one too, too perfect because Night Lights was in it :)
The lip gloss actually isn't too bad either. I don't need lip plumping, I think my lips are more than enough plump, I tried the clear one out and liked the smell, reminds me of hot lips :) The clear one in the gold bottle didn't have a name, but the pink one is called Sheer Bare. I love neutrals for my lips so this was an awesome buy :) The moral of the story, when in doubt ask the cashier! I almost left it, so glad I asked.
Here are some more photos of Night Lights.
Look at all the holo glitter goodness. The black/charcoal base is quite thin and needs to be built up, but you get the squishy jelly look :)
This is not exactly a linear holo like I originally thought, but still pretty and I'm glad to own it. Has anyone ever found this in store on on it's own?
Last polish and another great find, also my second Essie, Dive Bar. Yum :) look at the colour shift in that.
Dive bar has a deep dark base, almost black with a duochrome colour shift between blue, purple, green pink. The first time I saw it, I knew I had to have it lol. I picked this up at Target and it was the last one :) Even the cashier made a comment about how beautiful it was. Of all the places I have been looking for it (including Canada where the retail price ranges from $8-$12) I have not been able to find it! Have you seen it around?
So that is all for now, it took me forever to make this this post due to the changes with blogger, fortunately I got it figured out. Hope you liked my haul :)

Below is my first Essie! I have Matte About You, but that doesn't actually count as a full polish, right? Anyways, I picked this up with the CG's up top, so this one was also on sale! This is Da Bush. After purchasing it, I realized it is quite similar to a polish I got from Sinful Color's Adventure Island collection. Also photographed with the Essie, is a random, no name polish I got on the same day, doesn't have a name but it is a really pretty army green for fall, I couldn't leave it :). And although it kinda smells (not too strong) The formula actually seems decent :)

C-ch-changes?
Hello out there in blog world, I had planned to have a haul post today and attempted to draft up the post last night, but it seems blogger has changed a couple of things and made it a little more difficult! Maybe it just needs some getting used to, but I didn't have time to finish the post yesterday :( Are you having the same issue? How do I move around images other than editing the html?! If you have any tips, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated :)
Just wanted to wish you all a happy Friday, also check out my Sally Hansesn's Nail Prisms sale if you haven't already.
Have a great weekend :)

shattered - It's not what you think!
Do you ever have one of those days (or weeks in my case) where everything just seems to go wrong? Last week was one of those weeks unfortunately. I'm totally over it now thank God!
So I'm walking to the bus stop on my way to work, pull out my iphone from my pocket to read a text message... it slips right out of my hand in my half awake state that I am usually in in the morning, and CRASH, right in to the sidewalk, I swear it bounced!
So I'm walking to the bus stop on my way to work, pull out my iphone from my pocket to read a text message... it slips right out of my hand in my half awake state that I am usually in in the morning, and CRASH, right in to the sidewalk, I swear it bounced!
So yes... "inspired" by this look on my phone I decided to stamp Bundle Monster plate 208 on my nails for the broken glass/mirror look. My poor phone :(
Lucky for me my phone is still in perfect working order and it's an easy fix, I have already ordered the part in and my dad has taken apart iphones and put them back together before, so I'm all good :) The part is coming from Hong Kong though so it will take a while.
Enough about the phone, here are some more photos of my shattered nails. The contrast between the black and the base polish really made the multichome come out more. That, and the glossy topcoat really made me love this mani soooooo much.
I used my NYC quick dry top coat on this one. Since it is almost finished it has thickened up a bit, but with a little bit of thinner this polish is the PERFECT consistancy to seal in Konad designs. I used special black for stamping and got no smudging whatsoever! That is a first with the Konad black special polish, I'm usually too scared to even add a top coat sometimes lol

And just like the movies ....
Okay, wrong song lol, but I don't know the one by Katy Perry so, the one by Alien Ant Farm will have to do :)
Originally when the Katy Perry collection came out, I didn't care much for any other the colours. I had the dupe for Last Friday Night by Sally Hansen (Xtreme Wear), and Not Like The Movies didn't do anything for me. I still kind of like Teenage Dream, but don't know if I'll get it. Glitter removal scares me.
But, in the photo above you can see the interesting multichrome this polish really is. It had a silver base with a green and purple colour shift. At first I wasn't wowed with it, I had to add another coat (on top of the original 3, plus a layer of top coat from the previous day) because I felt I wasn't opaque enough. And since I wanted to Konad on top in a day or two, I decided not to add another top coat until then.
I felt like it took longer to dry and was fairly thin which took more coats to build up the colour. This also made the dry time longer than normal, which was surprising because all my OPI's dry nice and quick. However, the wear on it was fantastic, a whole week without any chips!
This polish really does need a good glossy top coat, not because it has a weird matte finish or anything, but it just adds so much more dimension to the polish its self. Oh! and I almost forgot about the little silver flecks in the polish, I really like that too :)

I got Not Like The Movies on sale for $5, think it was the sale factor that made me buy it. But the lighting in the store that day really made me like the cool duochome. First glance on the photo above, nothing too special, right?

Bluebell Fail
So I decided to layer Kleancolor's Chunky Holo Bluebell over NYX Girls Ink Heart. Kleancolor's smell... lol they are strong, but worth it for some of the interesting polishes they have. It looked super cool, but I think I layered on the coats a little too thick.
These photos are taken with 2 thick coats of Bluebell. It looks alright, right? It took a long time to dry, I will have to be a little more patient next time and build up the polish in thinner coats.
As you can see in the photos, this polish is pretty saturated with glitter for only 2 coats, Although I wouldn't recommend wearing it on it's own. Now for the unfortunate part...

Royal Jelly
First off, thank you to all of those who have made an order with me for the Sally Hansen Nail Prisms I have for sale. If you have sent your payment I will be sending out your packages today after work :) I really hope you get them soon and enjoy them as much as I do.
Now on to some polish, this is NYX's Ink Heart that I got in my Beauty Joint Haul. It is a lovely, deep saturated blue. I believe this was only one thick coat! It is super pigmented and applies pretty well. It has a thick consistency, but nothing that is not manageable. I added a tiny bit of thinner half way through application
The only bad thing I have to saw about this polish is I had Smurf fingers after removal. It may have had something to do with how I layered it, I'm not sure. I used Seche Clear as a base, it's supposed to protect from staining, right? Maybe I should have used 2 coats. Anyone have any good tips for preventing staining? Please let me know!

These photos are taken without a top coat on, so you can see how glossy this polish is, aren't jelly's awesome?! It also dried fairly quickly, which was great.

Haulin' (Part 2) For YOU! FINALLY, Sally Hansen Nail Prisms FOR SALE!
EDIT - Update: any items marked as "on hold" have already been requested. However, once the polishes have been paid for I will mark them as sold.
So here it is, my mother load of a Sally Hansen's Prims sale! You don't even know how hard I searched to find you guys these polishes. I should have taken photos of my hands, searching through bins, chipping nail polish on my nails. Leaking nail polish all over my hands, I looked like a crazy person!
I worked so hard to research the names of these polishes, take the right photos and attempt swatches. Due to lack of sun and/or polishes not photographing correctly, I have resorted to providing you with links to other blogs with the swatches I think are best representations of the polishes.
I hope you enjoy and take part in purchasing some of these discontinued beauties :) Please read all information below before contacting me with inquiries or purchase requests.
Alrighty, so this is how this is going to work. Below I have listed the polishes I currently have in my possession and how many of each I own. Prices and descriptions with links to swatches are posted with the polishes.
Shipping will be determined by location. Once you send me an email (to enthuseme@hotmail.com, subject line "Nail Prisms") with the polishes you would like and your location/address. I will then send you back an email to confirm your purchase and provide you with a total price including shipping. I think this will ensure the most accurate pricing and keep the shipping costs as low as possible for you. If you live in Toronto or are going to be in the Toronto area soon, I am willing to meet up with you for free :) Obviously cash for the polish, but you know what I mean. I never understood how some people charge to meet up to buy something. Otherwise, all payments must be made through PayPal. I will disclose my PayPal information once the polishes are confirmed for purchase.
Once you have made your payment I will ship out the polishes, simple as that!
I will definitely try to send some extras with your package, I have some Maybeline discontinued flakie Coloramas (with purchase of polish 9+) and nail art stickers, I'd possibly even insert some other treats and candy depending on how much room there is in the package. I will automatically include an extra polish for those who purchase the higher priced items, it will be a surprise when you get it ;)
Orders will be made on a first come first serve basis, please only send me one email. However, if I do not get back to you within the next 3 days, please resend.
Now on to the polish. Here are some great links to swatches of the Prisms line as well as more information about them:
The Nail Gal Great swatches for some of the polishes I have for sale.
Vibrant Point of View - I have learned almost all I know about prisms from this informative blog post. Click on one of the polishes in her list of prisms to see some excellent swatches.

*The price is higher on these items due to the fact that they are very hard to find. I don't want some random person to purchase it cheaply and then turn around and put it up on eBay, that would not be cool. I want a real polish lover to own it :) Most of these polishes sell for $18+ on eBay unfortunately. To ease the pain a bit, I will include a surprise polish with your order for no additional cost to you)
Please also keep in mind that after I ship out your purchase I am not responsible for any damage as unlikely as it my be. I will be bubble wrapping like crazy though! So everything should be safe. Also, all sales are final, no returns or exchange. Thanks :)
That's all I got for now. It feels like it took forever to make this post, so I hope you enjoyed it, hope to hear from you soon.
